Clear terms for using VerbaSpaces.
Effective 8 September 2026. These terms explain the service, subscriptions, AI credits, refunds, user responsibilities and the limits of VerbaSpaces.
Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, buying a subscription or using VerbaSpaces, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms apply to the VerbaSpaces website, public tools, accounts, Projects, Academic Workspace, Research tools, Creative tools and related support.
Who operates VerbaSpaces
VerbaSpaces operates the VerbaSpaces website and application from Kuwait. VerbaSpaces is an independent software service. It is not a university, academic publisher, payment provider, legal adviser or professional editing body.
Eligibility and age
Accounts are intended for people aged 16 or older. A paid subscription may be purchased only by a person who can legally enter the payment agreement, or with the permission and supervision required by applicable law. You must provide accurate account and payment-related information.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for protecting your login method and for activity carried out through your account. Do not share authentication links, passwords or access tokens. Contact VerbaSpaces promptly if you believe an account has been accessed without permission. VerbaSpaces may require reasonable verification before changing, exporting or deleting account data.
Beta service
VerbaSpaces is in an early beta stage. Features, limits, providers and interfaces may change as the service is tested. Saved work should not be your only copy of an important assignment, manuscript or source list. We may repair, replace, limit or withdraw a beta feature when necessary for security, reliability, cost control or legal compliance.
AI results require review
Paraphrases, corrections, summaries, citations, research results, similarity reports, images and academic feedback are generated or assembled with automated systems and may be incomplete or wrong. You must review every result, verify factual claims and sources, and decide whether it is suitable for your purpose before using or submitting it.
Academic responsibility
VerbaSpaces is designed to support planning, revision and evidence checking, not to replace your authorship or judgement. Your institution, lecturer or publisher may restrict AI use. You are responsible for following those rules, acknowledging assistance where required and submitting only work you are permitted to submit.
No guaranteed grades or outcomes
Academic Review, Evidence Map, rubric checks, AI detection and Final Check provide guidance only. They do not predict or guarantee a grade, acceptance decision, originality finding or compliance outcome. Assessment remains with the relevant institution, lecturer, editor or other decision-maker.
Sources and citations
A retrieved or formatted citation is not proof that a source supports a claim. Open the source, check authorship, date, DOI or URL, verify the relevant passage and follow the citation guide required by your institution. VerbaSpaces does not guarantee that third-party scholarly metadata is complete or current.
Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit and results to the extent allowed by law and provider terms. You give VerbaSpaces a limited permission to process, transmit, format, save and display that content only as needed to provide the feature you request, protect the service and meet legal obligations. The Privacy Policy explains when providers receive content and how saved work is handled.
Content you may submit
You must have the right to use the text, files, images and personal information you submit. Do not upload passwords, complete payment-card details, medical records, government identifiers, unlawfully obtained material, confidential third-party information or content that you are not authorised to process.
Prohibited use
You may not use VerbaSpaces to break the law; infringe intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights; create malware or abusive automation; impersonate another person; facilitate fraud; generate sexual content involving minors; threaten or harass others; bypass safety controls, account rules or usage limits; scrape the service at scale; resell access without permission; or interfere with service security and availability.
Free access and AI credits
Free tools and plan allowances are subject to the limits shown in the product. An AI credit is a service-usage unit, not money, electronic value or a transferable asset. Different requests may use different numbers of credits based on the feature and amount of processing. Credits are deducted only for successfully completed provider-backed actions where the interface identifies a charge. Failed actions should be reversed automatically, although delayed corrections may occasionally be required.
Paid plans
Paid plans provide the features and allowances shown at checkout. Prices, currency, billing cycle and included limits are displayed before approval. VerbaSpaces may change future plan prices or features, but a new price will not be applied to an existing recurring subscription without the notice and approval required by PayPal and applicable law.
Payment processing
PayPal processes subscriptions and eligible card payments. PayPal, rather than VerbaSpaces, receives the complete payment instrument. VerbaSpaces receives limited subscription, payer and transaction references needed to verify access, support billing and assess refund requests. PayPal’s own terms and privacy statement also apply.
Activation and renewal
Paid access begins only after PayPal reports an approved VerbaSpaces subscription as active and the subscription is linked to the matching VerbaSpaces account. Subscriptions renew automatically on the cycle shown at checkout until cancelled. Monthly AI allowances follow the reset period displayed in the account; unused included allowances do not roll over unless the product expressly says otherwise.
Cancellation
You may cancel future automatic renewal from Dashboard → Billing & Subscription or through your PayPal account. Cancellation does not automatically refund a completed charge. When PayPal supplies a reliable paid-through date, VerbaSpaces normally keeps paid access until that date; otherwise access may change when PayPal reports the subscription as cancelled or expired. Cancelling VerbaSpaces does not close your PayPal account.
Failed or delayed payments
If PayPal reports a failed, reversed, suspended or unresolved payment, VerbaSpaces may display a billing warning, pause paid features or return the account to the Free plan. Access can be restored after PayPal reports the subscription as active again. You remain responsible for resolving payment-method issues in PayPal.
Three-day voluntary refund window
A voluntary refund request must be submitted within 3 calendar days (72 hours) of the completed charge being reviewed. After that period, the payment is non-refundable unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Usage limit for voluntary refunds
A new subscription is no longer eligible for the voluntary refund once VerbaSpaces has processed 5,000 words through paid AI tools or the account has used 50 paid AI credits, even when fewer than 3 calendar days have passed. The first threshold reached applies. Successfully reversed failed requests do not count.
Requesting and processing a refund
Submit a request from Dashboard → Billing & Subscription while signed in. VerbaSpaces determines the payment, amount, charge date and recorded usage from server-side PayPal and account records; the optional reason is the only billing detail entered by the customer. Submission creates a pending request for review and does not itself issue a refund. An approved refund is returned through the original PayPal transaction where possible and may end paid access. PayPal or a bank may take additional time to display the returned funds. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
Suspension and termination
VerbaSpaces may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users or providers, enforce these Terms, respond to non-payment or comply with law. Serious or repeated violations may lead to account termination. Where practical, we will explain the reason and available support route.
Third-party services
Authentication, hosting, AI processing, research metadata and payments depend on third-party services. Their availability, output and terms are outside VerbaSpaces’ complete control. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and do not make VerbaSpaces responsible for those sites.
Service availability and changes
VerbaSpaces aims to provide a reliable service but does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, provider incidents, internet failures, security events and beta changes may affect availability. Important work should be exported or backed up regularly.
Intellectual property
The VerbaSpaces name, interface, software, original site copy, branding and service design are owned by VerbaSpaces or its licensors. These Terms do not permit copying, selling, reverse engineering or distributing the service except where applicable law gives a non-waivable right.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VerbaSpaces is provided on an as-available basis and does not guarantee that an output is accurate, original, suitable, secure or accepted by any institution. VerbaSpaces is not responsible for decisions made solely from an unverified AI result. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including statutory consumer rights where they apply.
Governing rules and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the VerbaSpaces operator in Kuwait, without removing mandatory consumer or data-protection rights that apply where you live. Contact VerbaSpaces first so a billing, account or service problem can be investigated. You may also use any court, regulator or dispute process that applicable law makes available to you.
Changes to these terms
VerbaSpaces may update these Terms when features, providers, prices, law or operational practices change. The effective date will be updated. Material changes affecting an active paid subscription will receive reasonable notice where required. Continued use after an update takes effect means the updated Terms apply to later use.
